Ocean Gold Alchemy™ – 10" D# +35
This individual 10-inch Ocean Gold Alchemy™ crystal singing bowl sings in D# +35, with a pale ocean-blue, softly iridescent finish and a deep, sustained voice. The bowl pictured is the individual instrument offered.
Musically, Ocean Gold provides the tonal foundation of the Aphrodite set. In Aphrodite, its D# is joined by Mother of Platinum bowls in F# and G#, creating a minor third from D# to F# and a perfect fourth from D# to G#.
Played individually, its larger 10-inch size gives the note depth and sustain while leaving space to listen into its overtone character. It can be sounded with a gentle strike or with a steady circular movement around the rim.
The name Ocean Gold brings together imagery of sea and light. Symbolically, it lends itself to themes of receptivity, emergence, radiance and coming forward into expression, while leaving space for each listener’s own experience.
