Aphrodite brings together three Crystal Tones® Alchemy™ bowls in pale ocean blue and pearlescent platinum: Ocean Gold in D#, with two Mother of Platinum bowls in F# and G#.
Inspired by Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and the older mythic image of Aphrodite emerging from the sea, the set has a luminous, tidal quality. The pale iridescent blue of Ocean Gold sits between two pearlescent Mother of Platinum voices, creating a palette of sea foam, pearl and reflected light.
Musically, D# to F# forms a minor third, while D# to G# forms a perfect fourth. The neighbouring F# and G# add a gentle tension and movement, giving Aphrodite an open, minor-coloured sonority rather than a conventional major or minor triad.

Ocean Gold provides Aphrodite’s deepest voice, with a pale blue, softly luminous finish and generous 10-inch resonance. Within the set it establishes the D# foundation, while its oceanic appearance echoes Aphrodite’s themes of water, receptivity and emergence.
Mother of Platinum Alchemy™ – 8" F# +35
The 8-inch Mother of Platinum introduces the minor third above D#, its pearlescent surface shifting through soft pink, aqua and platinum light. It brings the central voice of the set and a luminous visual counterpoint to Ocean Gold.
Mother of Platinum Alchemy™ – 6" G# +45
The 6-inch Mother of Platinum completes Aphrodite with the highest voice of the trio. G# forms a perfect fourth above the D# foundation, while the smaller bowl adds clarity and brightness to the set’s overall resonance.
